I used to think drinking when stressed out, or mad, sad, angry, etc., was the answer. But drinking when you are feeling those things is actually just an illusion. It is short lived.
It may temporarily take away the pain, or discomfort. But then it returns, worse than before because you have now added regret, shame, anxiety and depression on top of it.
It is far better off to deal with things immediately, putting them off creates an endless cycle of overwhelm and procrastination.
